Terminator Salvation
Terminator Salvation is a third person shooter where the player needs to "constantly move, flank, cover and utilize their squad to progress." The player must battle Skynet enemies from the upcoming film as well as new enemies specifically designed for the game.

The game features a campaign that can be played alone or cooperatively with one other local player via split-screen.

John Connor and teammate Blair Williams are playable in the co-op version. There is also a cover system, which is acclaimed by critics, in which is effective and has a locator in which players can switch covers. Weapons can be switched, and ammo and bombs can be added. The default and permanent weapon is an ""M4"". Secondary weapons can be switched, like a rocket launcher, a grenade launcher, a shotgun and a heavy machine gun. Pipe bombs and grenades can be switched as the player's bomb. Enemies' A.I. are extremely intelligent - detecting soldiers once they are hit, and T-600s which try to kill the player physically, moving around terrain.
